A highlight stop as part of my 3-week adventure around southern Africa in April 2014. We visited Maputo and Praia de Macaneta to get our fill of beach and crafts and incredible cuisine.

When in Mozambique, one must eat seafood. Begin with rissois de peixe, prawns, crabs, calamari, and pair it all with spicy piri-piri. Wash everything down with 2M, a local beer, or white wines and make merry until late in the evening.
