Never have I been more in tune with the pageantry of the fashion and beauty world. But I suppose when Miss Ghana comes in third place in the Miss World Beauty Pageant, it becomes a cultural thing. More than that, it’s historical.
First place went to Miss Philippines Megan Young; Second to Miss France Marine Lorphelin; Third to the lovely Miss Ghana Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter.
Miss Naa automatically assumes the title of Miss World Africa 2013, as she was the only African to make it to the top 10 in the Miss World pageant, and she arrives home to a proud Ghanaian public.
